The Top 10+ Aspartame Symptoms

Headaches and dizziness are some of the most common reactions to aspartame.

Have you ever gone to your doctor with mysterious health symptoms that keep popping up out of the blue? Over time, they just don’t go away.

Your doctor gives you another prescription, you refill it, and swallow down the little pill with an icy diet drink.

Darn if your symptoms still don’t go away.

Too few medical doctors ask if you are using aspartame, but if you ARE, stop all aspartame use and see if your symptoms subside and eventually disappear.

10+ Common Symptoms

Here are the most common health symptoms from using aspartame. (The official FDA list is in Sweet Poison, but after receiving over 10,000 complaints in just 10 years of aspartame use, the FDA stopped registering them in 1992. Today, the list could fill the pages of a novel.):

  1. Headaches (migraine-type headaches right in the middle of your forehead)
  2. Blurred vision
  3. Numbness and tingling in arms and legs (commonly misdiagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis)
  4. Ringing/swishing in the ears

Depression is a common side-effect from aspartame use.

Now, I’ll stop. One can get overwhelmed.

Many people wonder how one sweetener can cause so many different health reactions, and sadly, the medical community has used this to discredit the research and the validity of these claims. They also look at their patients complaining of chronic health symptoms like they are hypochondriacs, and many times they recommend that you go see a shrink.

Balderdash. It’s NOT YOU!

It really is the aspartame.

Exposure to neurotoxins, like aspartame, is the worse thing for your brain.


Neurotoxicity occurs when exposure to artificial toxic substances, which are called neurotoxins, alters the normal activity of the nervous system, causing damage to nerve tissues. This can eventually disrupt, and even destroy, neurons, which are key cells that transmit and process signals in the brain and other parts of the nervous system.

Neurotoxicity can result from exposure to substances that enter the brain, like aspartame.

Once a neurotoxin has entered your brain, it has NO USE for it. The body doesn’t know how to read it, and it has no value to human health. Hence, it becomes an unwanted toxin and health liability.

Then it bangs around inside of your brain looking for a job to do, and when it finally embeds somewhere, like in your pituitary gland, it wreaks havoc, misfiring useless signals coming from your central control center – your brain.

This can result in a myriad of health mishaps, from your legs swelling to messing up your hormones.

The next time you go to your doctor complaining about health symptoms that occur after downing a diet cola, or two or three, think about this: stop the aspartame and diet sweeteners before you consider loading up on meds to numb your chronic health symptoms.
